In Sugar Land, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Texas vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

WOW! Where to begin with my experience at “Affordable Auto Solutions”. I have had auto services many times before. (50 yrs) I have NEVER! Had service like I had at Affordable. First…the front desk staff, immediately put you at ease with their welcoming and trustworthiness you feel right off the bat. Second…women can trust them to NOT!! Rip you off. Period Third…the pricing is exactly what the company name says…affordable! Forth…I have never seen before, the OWNER!!! Vacuuming and taking cars to be washed before they deliver them back to you after the repair is completed. Fifth…My car was repaired ONCE!!! And done. No going back and forth with repairs not completed. Lastly…you go anywhere else. you deserve what you get!!! Period. Don’t do the rest do the BEST!!!!!

Eric Novak and his team are professionals at what they do. I brought my 2014 Raptor in for the notorious “lead frame” issue and he got me taken care of in a day. Upon further inspection after the repair, the issue persisted due to a defective replacement part from Ford. Eric immediately stepped up, got another part ordered under warranty, and even offered me an Uber home since I live a good distance away. The next day he called to let me know the truck was finished, washed, and that one of his guys was personally delivering it back to me to ensure everything was perfect. That level of customer service is rare these days. These guys are amazing and definitely gained a lifetime customer in me. The name says it all — Affordable Auto Solutions is reasonably priced, honest, and they don’t want your vehicle sitting there any longer than it has to.

Eric and the whole team at Affordable Auto solutions did an amazing job servicing my F150 Raptor. I’d highly recommend them if you need any servicing on your Ford Raptor. I had transmission fluid/filter change, diff fluid change, brake fluid flush and coolant flush. The truck rides a lot smoother after the service.

Best automotive repair shop in Texas. They are Ford and Toyota masters, but they also work on other makes. If you have an electrical or sensor problem that nobody else can figure out, Eric and his guys will find the source and fix it. My first experience was with my GX470 basket case that had a poorly done engine swap by another shop. Eric wasn't afraid of my other modifications and saved my GX from being salvaged. I also take my Raptor there for routine maintenance and other repairs not covered by my Ford warranty. Every single person that works there are extremely competent and just good people. I drive in from Pearland, but they are worth the trip even if you aren't in the Houston area.
